Asta is a designer, technician, and a lift aficionado. They got their start as a technician on the Theater Arts electrics crew at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and did their first design during the Chautauqua new works festival run by Ben Chau-Chiu at the same school. They have since been working professionally as an electrician in California and Oregon, and hope to expand more as a lighting designer.
Asta brings compassion and unity to everything they work on. They do their best to make sure their designs support the work of the other creatives involved, and love working collaboratively to create a unified project.
